ABOUT  DTJ

Founded in 2016, Dog Tag Jeans was created with a purpose that goes beyond upcycled denim.

Our mission is to help raise PTSD awareness and honor the sacrifices of veterans and first responders. That's why we donate 10% of our net profits to local organizations that provide support and resources for those who have served our communities and our country.

Giving back isn't just part of what we do, it's the foundation of who we are. Every purchase helps make a difference, allowing you to support a mission with lasting impact.

Meet the founder

Inspired by resilience, service, and purpose, Shannon founded Dog Tag Jeans with a mission rooted in supporting those who have sacrificed for others.

For more than a decade, Shannon volunteered for the United States Army Family Readiness Support Network, where she dedicated herself to supporting our military families. In recognition of her service, she was awarded the United States Army St. Joan D'Arc Medallion.

Today, Shannon continues that commitment by raising awareness for PTSD and supporting veterans and first responders. Her belief that every act of giving back can make a difference remains the driving force behind the brand.
